A nice, easy to navigate, well laid out website, using a couple of nifty HTML/CSS tricks. The language used on this site is already very good, and very clear & easy to understand, but it is still obvious that it is not written by a native English speaker.
Work Performed
All text, including menu items and footers, on the web-page were reviewed and edited, to produce a page more native to Western readers. Spending more time could improve the content of this page further so that the English is perfect and the text sells the service more efficiently, but the simple improvements already made will certainly improve the acceptability of this site to English speaking visitors.
- Plural and singular words corrected.
- Sentences rephrased to improve sentence/thought flow.
- Consistency of punctuation applied.
- New content proof read.
As discussed on our Levels Of Service page, varying amounts of time can be spent on proofing the improved content. Most customers prefer speedy proofing to save cost, so occasionally there may be some small errors in the content of this page. Customers tend to think that small mistakes are more acceptable compared to the errors in their original content.
Cost & Timing
The actual work to update the text on this particular page took approximately 20 minutes, including time to slow-read proof the new content. This means that it could be possible to improve up to 3 pages per hour at a price of 700bht per hour.
A discount of 50bht per hour can be given for including our logo, as seen in this example, for at least 12 months, on any website page improved by us. Also, for an additional 50bht per hour, we can download your web-pages directly from your site, and upload them when complete.
Further Recommended Work
- Improve additional website pages.
- Improve textual content in graphical images.
- Introduce 'alternate text' tags for images and links.
- This page breaks a couple of HTML rules which should be fixed.
- Applying some CSS rules to the left hand menu will fix layout problems found on some browsers, and automatically manage indentation with out the need for so many " ".
- Obscure email address, or introduce 'Contact Us' form to minimise SPAM.
